NEW to Actif Fitness in 2017
Carmarthen Leisure Centre, New Boxfit Classes on Thursday evenings at 7pm. Boxfit is a class that combines boxing and exercise in a fun, stress busting activity. Boxfit is one of the most effective forms of cross training available today as it combines aerobic and anaerobic exercises to create an energetic, diverse workout. This will target and improve areas such as co-ordination, balance, strength and endurance. This is guaranteed to be fun, energetic and addictive and suitable for a group of mixed ability participants.
Llanelli Leisure Centre there is a variety of new classes including;
Kettlercise Combat Max: An exciting fusion of kettlebells and MMA (Mixed martial arts). Providing a high cardio full body workout with an emphasis on core strength and fat burning. Ideal for those in the LF connect “Shape group” Wednesday 6.45am & Saturday 9am
Triple Challenge: Who said exercise is boring? This conditioning workout consisting of 15minutes of variations of aerobics: Step, Dance, High intensity cardio. Ideal for those in the LF connect “Movement group” Monday 9.30am
Body Conditioning: A High impact,high energy class utilising exercise balls, hand weights, and your bodyweight as resistance. Feel fitter and more energised in 2017. Ideal for those in the LF connect “Challenge Group” Tuesday & Friday 9.30am
Ammanford Leisure Centre has also introduced two new classes this New Year.
Barbell Sculpt– This class will tone, sculpt, and strengthen your entire body, fast! This class challenges all of your major muscle groups while you squat, press, lift, and curl.
Yogalaties - improve flexibility and strength through a mix of yoga and Pilates inspired moves. Suitable for all abilities and levels of fitness.
