Following the success and the excellent feedback received from parents for our Splash and Wave programmes we are pleased to announce that these exciting programmes are being introduced at Llandovery Swimming Pool.

Working closely with Swim Wales the development of these exciting programmes form a fundamental starting point to the Learn to swim journey.

Our Splash programme introduces babies from the age of 3 months to fun water activities to help them develop their skills with support of an adult in the water.  Once they become confident and independent in the water they are then ready to progress into the Wave programme.

The Wave programme is the main ‘Learn to Swim’ programme which teaches children the necessary skills they need to swim, develop physical literacy in the water and are taught the vital safety skills so they learn how to be safe in and around water.

These existing programmes start in Llandovery Swimming Pool in May.
